Season 2 cant pick up where 1 ended simply because son Flynn has aged too much ie had a huge growth spurt, and no longer looks 9-10 like he did in s1.

There are plenty of spoilers out there today, not to mention excellent quality copies of the episode to watch online or download....anyone could always simply view the episode 'live' on the requisite AXN TV channel....last night AXN Spain....as this progress's around the world most of the channels are available online with live programming.

I don't have paid cable TV so getting access is always problematic. Was hoping there would be members here who had seen the episode who would like to post about it here. I know I posted when I watched last season in an effort to get some discussion going. If this is your attempt at snipe Kitkat that would be very disappointing considering not all fans get access to Stana's projects as easily as others. Perhaps you could actually add to the conversation rather that trying to put others down?

It would appear that the only one being sarcastic here is actually you Kitkat. I posted a very simple call out if there was anyone who had seen episode 1 that would like to post comment about it here. Yet you chose to make some snide comment about how I may or may not have watched Absentia S1. What does how I watch Absentia or indeed any other of Stana's projects have anything to do with my post? Perhaps you just wanted to take a snarky shot and you did and now you try and continue with the snarks by attacking me further? Good for you that you will be waiting to see the show in June. Interesting that you are here in a spoiler thread designed to discuss the episodes with only the intent of being snarky to those who would love to know what fans think of it.

I watched the episode, there is a time jump but it's difficult to say precisely how much but from Flynn's age I would guess 3-4 years. Emily is a mess and using drugs and alcohol to get her through, still looking into her case and tracking down the remaining children from the home, she and Tommy have a friends with benefits thing going on but strictly on her terms, he is helping her with the research using his police resources. On top of this a domestic terrorist attacks the FEMA building with deadly effect, Nick and his team are on the case along with a new profiler the FBI have sent in to help....the twist at the end of the episode is pretty unexpected, I am definitely intrigued how this is going to play out.....

I think the comment that latte pirated the first season is a big insult Pirated in the US means to steal, illegally watch movies or TV. Maybe it means something different in Austraiia.

I didn't put the comment on here for posters to like. I just know there were some posters on this board in season one that had a link where they were watching all the episodes way before they it their country. Pirating has gone on for years. People don't care if it's illegal or not. I'm from the US & I know what pirating means, cheat, steal, or whatever you want to call it. As far as Australia I don't no what it means, I would think the same thing.

I "pirated" it but it won't stop me watching on Amazon June 14th (which I pay for) so no harm, no foul in my mind!
I think the time jump was more like 1 year or so. But who knows. I really liked the episode, and I'm just choosing to ignore the over the top punk look, undercut and clothes because I'm sure that was stana's creative choice so I'm rolling my eyes and moving on. As for her demeanor, she is definitely rough but with PTSD again (which makes sense) but the Flynn scenes made up for it, and stana does look really pretty despite all of that stuff imo. Really liked the dialogue and pacing, and thought all actors were better or just as good except for Cara. Lol. Looking forward to the season and hope the quality keeps up.

I took it as an insult as well. As I stated, I do not pay for cable TV. Therefore accessing Absentia means waiting for copies to be put online. I'm not telling others what to do here and I think we can all make our own decisions in working around our own personal and national circumstances. But I guess some love to dictate and judge others?

Many thanks for the review. I'm reading some comments that the Emily character has taken a radical change from the end of S1. That change has included even her voice? Some comments suggestion the changes to Emily are too extreme and unconnected with the place we saw her at the end of S2. Would be interested in any thoughts on this from those that have actually seen the episode.

Lol. But it was exaggerated and will continue to be as part of the "anti-hero" thing I'm sure. I did notice the higher pitched voice but to me it sounded more like stana than Beckett, for instance, so although I thought it wad odd I got used to it. One thing i did not care for (but i guess i should see how it plays out first), was the twist at the end of ep1 because i thought this is too much "stuff" going on now between all the various storylines. But I'm assuming they will all come together.

Edited: to remove my explanation I enjoy participating and reading the contributions of most members of this forum enough to take a step back. I won't apologize on this issue, but I do sincerely hope that my explanation and willingness to edit my previous comment will suffice.

I've edited my previous remark to remove the personal nature of my statement. However, it was exactly that, a statement of opinion based on that person's own posted comments and information, no more an "attack" than her comment that "some love to dictate and judge others?" referring to KitKat, which received no notice from you. I happen to believe that there is a distant lack of judgment in today's world, but I do not do it randomly. Please note that Latte herself made her circumstances and actions privy to those of us on this board, which in my mind made her open to judgment and criticism. But so be it. I enjoy participating and reading the contributions of most members of this forum enough to take a step back. I won't apologize on this issue, but I do sincerely hope that my explanation and willingness to edit my previous comment will suffice. It would appear that sticking to the subject of the thread is challenging here for some? Read the thread. A member asked if anyone had seen the episode and if they did could they post their thoughts. The response to that post by one member was to attempt to criticise the member for how they may or may not have accessed Absentia previously. What was the relevance of that personal comment? It had no context to the discussion here, just as the following contribution above, prior to deletions, was inappropriate. Your opening to criticise was when a member attempted to explain how they try to access Stana's projects? There was zero personal explanation by the member as to why their 'circumstances' resulted in them not paying for cable TV. Yet, you chose to make a judgement there without any supporting evidence of those 'circumstances'?
My original moderation applies: This is not a helpful contribution. No one here is privy to others circumstances. We are also not a judge and juror. These personal negative attacks on an individual member are not welcome here. Cease or go elsewhere.

Editing to remove the personal comments: Everyone can make any decisions but then we're all obligated to take the responsibility for them. I repeat, the "copies" that are being put online at this time are being put online illegally. Accessing one, whatever the excuse, is taking part in an illegal act. I agree with KitKat. Quaser, You're the best.
